Olivia was born and raised in NY.  Although she was exposed to the arts at a young age, she didn't explore her own personal creativity until after finishing her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.  After moving to San Diego, she began to consider how her creativity could be expressed and cultivated.  Enrolling in a beginner's ceramics class at Mesa College helped initiate the spark that would continue to grow into a passion.  Although there were long periods of time when her hands were not actively in clay, her love for the ceramic art form never left.  She is grateful, humbled, and honored to have the opportunity to grow her craft at Clay Associates.  She loves the collaborative and supportive environment that allows her freedom to experiment with form, texture, and unexpected shapes.
